Terms of use
Last updated Wednesday, 21 OctoberThese terms apply to the Sehatty website and mobile app. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.
The service
Sehatty helps you find healthcare providers, book visits, follow offers and keep your health records in one place. Medical care is given by the providers, not by Sehatty. Sehatty does not give medical advice. In an emergency, call 123 or go to the nearest emergency department.
Your account
- You sign in with your mobile number and a WhatsApp code. Keep your phone secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.
- Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
- One person per account. A parent or guardian may manage bookings for a child.
Bookings
- A booking is a request to the provider. Some providers confirm automatically, others confirm manually.
- Fees shown are set by the provider. Unless the app says otherwise, you pay the provider at the visit.
- Cancel or reschedule within the time shown in the app. Repeated no-shows may limit your ability to book.
- Providers may cancel or move a booking; you will be notified.
Offers and posts
Offers and posts are published by providers, who are responsible for their accuracy, prices and validity. Sehatty may review and remove content that breaks these terms or the law.
Health wallet
You decide what to upload. Providers you visit may add results or prescriptions to your wallet when this is enabled. Keep copies of important records.
Providers
Doctors, clinics, laboratories and scan centers must hold valid licenses, provide accurate information and documents, and follow applicable medical regulations. Listing requires approval and an active plan. Plan fees are charged in advance and are not refundable except where the law requires.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, impersonate others, upload unlawful or misleading content, or try to access data that is not yours.
Liability
We work to keep the service available and accurate but cannot guarantee it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, Sehatty is not liable for medical services provided by providers.
Suspension
We may suspend accounts that break these terms. You can stop using the service and ask to delete your account at any time.
Changes and law
We may update these terms and will post changes here. These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
